The quality of these precious gemstone depends on the following factors:

1. Origin:

• I    talian Red Coral: best quality and are Economical.
• J    apanese Red Coral: good in quality and are expensive in comparison.

2. Cut: Red Coral is cut into various shapes including oval, capsule, round and triangular.

3. Color: Bright or deep red hued corals also known as “OX-BLOOD RED” corals are considered to be the best quality Red Corals.

4. Clarity: Red Corals are opaque. Natural corals can't be free of inclusions (wood grain effect/grooves/pits/striations) and the presence of any of these inclusions is considered proof of Natural Coral
